Let's get you started
While using a cardboard scraper is simple, there are some tips, tricks and techniques that will help you get the most out of your Scrappy Scraper.
1. Basic scraping
For regular scraping, simply hold the scraper and scrape. Yes it's cardboard, but it can take quite a bit of pressure.

2. Tougher jobs
We put two fingers by the logo to help distribute pressure. The bigger the surface area that takes the pressure, the better.
3. Extreme scraping
For extremely tough scraping, we use two hands. The top hands grips the top of the handle and the second hand, the bottom, extending the index and middle fingers onto the blade area.

Rescuing a buckled Scrappy
It happens. We get carried away and push the limits of the cardboard. Once that happens, turn it over and use the two-handed grip, or choke down and hold right on the scraping part.
Refurbishing a Scrappy
Depending on your usage, you can get quite a few scrapes from your Scrappy. You can either keep using the soiled edge, or cut the used area off for a fresh edge.
The science
The following pages demonstrate the science behind how a Scrappy can be used to clean even the most stubborn residue.
